Cedi Buys at 11.64 to the Dollar on Monday – BoG Rate
The cedi is buying at 11.6442 to the dollar on Monday, October 26. It sold at 11.6558.
That’s a small depreciation compared to Friday’s rate. On October 23, the cedi had been buying at 11.5992 and selling at 11.6108.

The gap is minor. But it’s still worth noting for anyone tracking the currency closely.
These day-to-day numbers sit inside a larger story the BoG has been telling. Governor Dr Johnson Pandit Asiama has pointed to a real recovery for the cedi against major currencies.
He’s also highlighted stronger external reserves and growing momentum across the economy.

According to Asiama, growth has become more broad-based. Services and agriculture have both improved. Industry is recovering too, though more gradually.
He tied all of this together at the launch of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre’s (GIPC) 2025 Annual Investment Report. These developments have contributed to creating a more stable and predictable environment for businesses and investors, he said.
