One Dead, Eight Injured in Kasoa–Winneba Road Accident
One person has died and eight others sustained injuries in a head-on collision involving a water tanker and a Toyota Voxy on the Kasoa–Winneba Road.
The accident occurred on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Tipper Junction along the Kasoa–Winneba Road.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), firefighters from the Buduburam Fire Station responded to the crash and rescued eight injured persons from the vehicles.
The injured victims were transported to the Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa for medical treatment.
However, one of the victims later died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The Toyota Voxy reportedly suffered extensive damage to its engine compartment, while the water tanker also sustained partial damage.

The Ghana National Fire Service said the exact cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Authorities are expected to provide further details as investigations into the accident continue.
