Priscilla Ofori, popularly known as Odo Broni and widow of Ghanaian Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, has paid a heartfelt tribute to her late husband by unveiling a portrait tattoo of him on her arm during a memorial gathering at his East Legon residence.
The emotional tribute took place on Saturday as family, friends, and close associates gathered to commemorate the first anniversary of Daddy Lumba’s passing. The iconic musician died on July 26, 2025, at The Bank Hospital in Accra at the age of 60, leaving behind a remarkable musical legacy that continues to resonate across Ghana and beyond.
Speaking to mourners, Odo Broni explained that the tattoo symbolizes the enduring love and deep bond she shared with her late husband throughout their marriage. She described it as a permanent reminder that, despite his passing, his memory and spirit remain with her every day.
“This is my husband’s picture. Although he is gone, I believe he is still with me,” she said.
