Ghanaian trio to work under Barcelona legend Busquets at Barça Atlètic
Ghanaian youngsters Hafiz Gariba, Abdul Aziz Issah and David Oduro are set to work under Barcelona legend Sergio Busquets as he begins his coaching career with Barça Atlètic.
Busquets has joined Juliano Belletti’s coaching staff at Barcelona’s reserve side as he takes his first steps into management following an illustrious playing career.
The former Spain international spent 15 seasons with Barcelona’s first team, making 722 appearances and playing a key role in one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.
Ghanaian trio set to benefit
The arrival of Busquets presents a valuable learning opportunity for the three Ghanaian players, who are all part of the Barça Atlètic setup.
Abdul Aziz Issah joined Barcelona’s reserve side from Dreams FC after making a name for himself in Ghana. The Ghana international forward has been working to establish himself within the club’s system.
David Oduro, who moved from Accra Lions, is also developing his career in Barcelona’s setup, while Hafiz Gariba forms part of the Ghanaian contingent at Barça Atlètic.

During his playing career, Busquets established himself as one of the finest defensive midfielders of his generation.
