“I’m Marrying Who I Love, Christian or Muslim” — Black Sherif
Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has opened up about his views on marriage, stating that love — not religion or societal expectations will determine who he eventually settles down with.
Speaking in a resurfaced interview, the “Kwaku the Traveller” hitmaker said his decision on marriage is “non-negotiable” when it comes to choosing a life partner.

“I’m marrying who I love. Trust me, it’s non-negotiable whether Christian or Muslim,” he said.
Black Sherif explained that a person’s religious background would not influence his choice, stressing that emotional connection and genuine love matter most to him.
When asked about when he plans to get married, the musician said he has no fixed timeline and is leaving everything to divine timing.
“As for when I will marry, ask me later. For now, it’s in my Maker’s hands,” he added.
For now, the award-winning artiste maintains that while the timing of marriage remains uncertain, his guiding principle will always remain the same, love comes first.
