Lovable Raises $400 Million at $13.3 Billion Valuation in Stunning AI Funding Boost

Lovable $13.3B valuation has been confirmed as the European vibe-coding startup announces a new $400 million Series C funding round, marking another major milestone for the rapidly growing AI software company.

Lovable said on August 12, 2026, that the funding round values the company at $13.3 billion. The round was led by Menlo Ventures and co-led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT.

The latest investment comes less than a year after Lovable raised $330 million at a $6.6 billion valuation, meaning the company’s valuation has roughly doubled since its previous funding round.

Lovable $13.3B valuation follows rapid revenue growth

The new funding comes after Lovable reported significant growth in its business.

In June, the company said it had reached $500 million in annualized run-rate revenue. Since launching in November 2024, users have created more than 60 million projects on the platform, while Lovable-built applications now attract more than 900 million visits every month.

The company has also expanded its reach among large businesses. Lovable said employees at nearly two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies now use its platform, up from half of the Fortune 500 within its first year.

Lovable raises $400 million to expand its platform

Lovable said the new capital will be used to accelerate product development, infrastructure and hiring as it seeks to become a platform for both creating and running businesses.

The company’s platform has expanded beyond basic AI-assisted software creation. Recent additions include payment functionality, SEO and AI-search tools, security scanning, governance features and integrations with major business platforms.

These include Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Stripe and ElevenLabs.

Lovable has also developed its own AI model while continuing to support multiple frontier models.

Lovable’s new investors broaden its global backing

The Series C round attracted investors from several regions.

New investors include Balderton Capital, Carmignac, Kaszek Ventures, LTS Growth, Tencent, World Innovation Lab and Regent.

Existing investors including Accel, Antler, CapitalG, DST Global, Evantic Capital, HubSpot Ventures and Salesforce Ventures also participated.

The company said the expanded investor base reflects its ambition to build a global technology company from Europe.

Lovable plans major hiring drive

Lovable is also preparing for significant expansion of its workforce.

The company plans to grow to approximately 450 employees this year, with hiring focused particularly on machine learning, product development, infrastructure and security.

While Stockholm will remain its main base, Lovable plans to expand its presence in London, Boston, San Francisco and New York.

Lovable wants AI to do more than build software

The company says its next phase will focus on making Lovable increasingly proactive.

Rather than simply responding to user instructions, Lovable wants its platform to understand what users are trying to achieve, identify tasks that require attention and increasingly help execute those tasks.

The company also plans to use data from millions of projects to better understand what contributes to successful products, including outcomes such as revenue generation, improved workflows and business growth.

Lovable says this feedback loop could help its AI systems become more effective as more people build products on the platform.

A rapidly changing AI software market

Lovable’s latest funding highlights the growing investor interest in AI-powered software development and so-called vibe coding.

The company is competing in a market where AI is increasingly allowing people without traditional programming expertise to build websites, applications, internal business tools and commercial products.

With a $13.3 billion valuation and $400 million in fresh funding, Lovable now has significantly more resources to expand its technology, infrastructure and global footprint.

The company says its broader goal is to give more people the ability to turn ideas into functioning software without requiring traditional levels of technical expertise.
