MELBOURNE, Australia — Veteran British-born Australian actor Terence Donovan, whose career helped shape Australian television across more than five decades, has died aged 90, his family has announced.
His death was confirmed by his sons, actor and singer Jason Donovan and his brother Paul, who said their father died peacefully in Melbourne on Saturday with his family by his side.
“It is with great sadness but also a sense of celebration of a long full life that myself and my brother Paul announce our father Terence died peacefully,” Jason Donovan wrote in a family statement shared on social media.
